We are deeply grateful to our incredible community for the kindness and generosity shown during this year’s Give Local York campaign. Because of your support, the Red Land Senior Center has raised $14,365 to date, and we are eagerly awaiting the announcement of additional stretch pool funds.
This outpouring of support is a powerful reminder of how fortunate we are to be part of such a compassionate and engaged community.
Every gift reflects a shared commitment to ensuring older adults in our area have access to nutritious meals, meaningful connections, and a place where they truly belong. Thank you for standing with us and making a lasting impact. Thank you!
About the event:
Give Local York is a 24-hour online giving spree, presented by Giant and the White Rose Leadership Institute, to benefit over 300+ York County nonprofits, including Red Land Senior Center starting at 7 PM on the 1st Thursday of May and going through 7 PM the 1st Friday of May.
The goal is simple: inspire York Countians to come together, show pride in their community, and contribute to support the life-changing work of local nonprofits. How can you participate? Simply go online to www.givelocalyork.org and type ‘Red Land Senior Center’ in to the site’s search bar.
From there you will then be able to make a secure, online donation. Donations can only be made through this website on the 1st Thursday at 7:00 PM through that 1st Friday at 7:00 PM.
Cash/check donations are also accepted in person at the center or by mail anytime between April 1st and that 1st Friday of May. Please be sure to write “Give Local York or GLY" in the memo line of your check so it may be counted towards credit for matching funds and county wide stretch pool funds. RLSC wants to connect with local business/ organizational sponsors to participate in our funds matching donations for a time slot of the day.
